Dear Pam, I cannot thank you enough on how much your class has meant to my daughter Melissa and to me! I just wish we met you before I wasted thousands of dollars for (competitors removed)! You gave Melissa more personalized attention, confidence, USEFUL training for image, modeling, runway, fashion, interview skills, makeup, on camera training than 6 LONG months of weekend sessions at (competitor removed) at a tenth of the cost! Your sincere honesty about the industry, your amazing contacts/referrals, sharing your experiences in what to do and what not to do is so refreshing! I was getting cynical before we met you, thinking that this industry was only out to take our money. It was becoming quite disappointing. Instead of good referrals and opportunities all we received was expensive and a total waste of time with cattle calls and very pricey referrals. These schools and so called agencies were only making more from us by referring others to just make money and had zero benefits for my child. Their process only led to heartache and disappoint! I really felt like I was throwing money away and wasting my time. You helped Melissa polish skills, boost her self-confidence in made her understand that she really needs to work very hard to dedicate and be passionate about her pursuit. In addition your photographers are AMAZING, great with teens & young adults and their prices very affordable! The summer workshop week was a huge success for my daughter, who loved every minute of it. She especially loved getting out into the streets and interacting with the public while doing “photo shoots”. I'm wary of modeling in general because of the way girls seem to end up focusing so much attention on every imperfection in their bodies. But this introduction to modeling was totally different – the emphasis was truly on developing poise and self-confidence as advertised and both my daughter and I were thrilled with the whole experience." "My daughter is 13 yrs old and I found out about Pam through a co-worker, I was very leary of modeling schools but heard great things about Believe in YOU, so I gave it a shot. It was the best move I could have made for my daughter. She started Pam's class and shortly after starting, we had a series of unfortunate events which almost caused me to have to pull my daughter from classes. Pam showed us great compassion and continued teaching my daughter (for which I am very greatful). My daughter not only looked forward to her classes but rose above the problems we were having. Not only does Pam's class teach modeling and acting, but most of all self-confidence and great self-esteem. Dear Miss Pamela, My daughter Valerie and I would just like to say thank you so much for helping us in her venture to become Miss Teen RI 2007. A friend of ours won your ten-week scholarship certificate that you graciously donated to the Worcester Chamber Golf Tournament fundraiser. He couldn't use it himself because he has no teenagers. This invaluable gift came at a perfect time for Valerie as she is competing in the Miss Teen RI 2007 in September. You were very accommodating with your time, giving us private pageant training lessons in the evening rather than your 10-week high fashion training as we live out of state. You're knowledge and professionalism is excellent, especially the way you explained to her how being beautiful on the outside is good, but beauty within will make her a winner not only in the pageant, but in life too. Modeling had always been a dream deep inside. It was always one of those dreams you never really think it's possible to live out. OMG PAM! well I don't know where to start... it was the best ten weeks ever... turns, poses, **makeup** (hahaha), For those of you that don't know me, that's huge! I made more friends that I will keep in touch with, and I have a new role model. You cared about us all individually. When one was one minute late... you were scared out of your skin that something could have happened to them. It was like you became a second mother! I know you are different from those other modeling schools because you show care for each and every one of us. When we first got there, we looked hopeless... (or to ourselves we did) but today at graduation, we all looked awesome... even me, who screwed up a bazillion times! lol... I guess all I can say is thank you for everything... Pam - I just want to start of by thanking you so much for everything you've done. I have learned so much taking your class from runway to make-up to "putting your best face forward", it has been such a great experience and has made me much more confident. I also want to thank you for taking your own time on training me for my upcoming pageant (Miss Teen Mass). You don't know how much I appreciated that. There are two types of people in life. Givers and Takers. For as long as I have known Miss Pamela she has been a giver of guidance, belief, support and friendship. She steers you in the right direction and teaches you how to avoid "the potholes." She will support you and push you to your fullest potential because she truly believes in each and every one of us. It's great to know a person with all of these traits but even better to form a friendship. Pamela is your friend as well as your teacher and this is what makes working with her such a joy. Sometimes you need that shoulder to depend on as well as that boost. It's rare to find those two traits in the same package, and that's what makes her so unique.
